Question: Many are alarmed and even active against the "world" taking the words "under God" out of our schools.....BUT not alarmed that the Holy Spirit and His gifts/manifestations are being asked quietly to leave most of our churches today (by those same church folks!) He (the Holy Spirit) is WAY more important and believe me we all tell Him every day where, when, how, and if He can move.
To say we want Him, but then to deny the Biblical pattern for His arrival, appearance and operation is a LIE (only those who tell or believe the lie are dumb enough to believe the lie.)

We will fight for the right to continue the public declaration of the Pledge of Allegiance out of loyalty but not for the presence and work of the Holy Spirit…
He must cry...really Jesus wept...don't feel bad - the Jews of Jesus’ day thought they were RIGHT as well....you should study what happened in Jerusalem just a few years later (the Siege). That siege made the Holocaust look weak. I challenge you to read it yourself, it is history now you know.
If you make Jesus cry or fail to see the gift...God doesn't take that well AT ALL. What happens at the end of our time (Book of Revelation) is just the same as what God had done to the Jews who rejected the Lord...exactly!
Why do I say all this??? Jesus came to give you Life/Righteousness - that righteousness is what made you "clean enough" to receive the Holy Spirit INSIDE yourself. The fact is that JESUS came to make you a temple (to re-prepare you) for the habitation of God.
TO DENY (yourself) THE FULL INDWELLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (as a Christian) IS TO DENY THE ENTIRE REASON THAT JESUS CAME...HE CAME TO REMAKE YOU - SO THAT (the express purpose is) THAT GOD COULD FILL YOU FOREVER WITH HIMSELF (in the person of the Holy Spirit)
Your Christian desire to have Jesus, but to then deny the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the EPITOMY of SELFISHNESS – "I'll take heaven thank you, BUT that's all I want for now"....
John the Baptist said that one is coming that will “baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire". That’s Jesus’ ministry and to have or want Jesus without being willing to receive of His ministry as "Baptizer” in the Holy Spirit is the most pitiful thing I've ever heard.....
The Holy Spirit is surely crying.... and you can stop it, but you won't...because you're more important than God.....
